Whilst recommended for playground environments, Kids Play mulch is an economical and lightweight option for other landscape environments, such as steep or windy terrain. Its remarkable binding properties ensure it stays exactly where you intend it to be.
Applications
To achieve the required results with Kids Play mulch, initially ensure a depth of 300 mm is applied to accommodate settling and gradual compaction. The minimum Australian standard is 200 mm for compacted Kids Play mulch. This depth is crucial for public and school playgrounds, areas under swing sets, trampolines, and cubby houses. Furthermore, the mulch should be evenly spread to a depth of approximately 75 mm for these specific zones, providing an optimal cushioning and safety layer for children’s play.
