Our People

  • Chris Ristovski – CEO

    Chris has over 30 years of hands on experience in the supply chain that services the landscape , building , civil construction and utilities industries. 
    Chris established the Soilworx business from scratch at the young age of 18 in 1990 and has driven the growth of Soilworx into what it is today in the market place. Chris has a real passion for working with clients and customers to help solve their problems and come up with creative solutions that can have long term positive results .

    In 2000 Chris established a sister brand – Mother Earth that supplies a range of in excess of 100 bulk and bagged soil and quarry products lines. Through this new brand Chris has a developed a passion for landfill reduction and recycling and over the last 10 years he has developed a wealth of knowledge in the reuse and recycle business. He works on a daily basis with both residential and commercial reuse and recycling programs for private haulers and municipalities. As CEO of Soilworx his focus has also been on  improving  recycling and landfill reduction efforts that will increase post retail revenue while reducing waste disposal .  

  • Leanne Hall – Operations Manager

    Leanne joined SoilWorx over 11 years ago as retail sales assistant and grew to became the Retail Manager. During her time as Retail Manager she launched both Pakenham and Werribee outlets whilst still managing the Deer Park location.

    Due to her successes and her impressive work ethic, 4 years ago she was given the opportunity to work in the operations department. Her role in the department is to drive operational improvements, whilst ensuring a tight control on operational costs. She is responsible for monitoring and continually improving standards of performance and quality within the operation group. 

  • Niki Glastras – Sales & Marketing Manager

    Niki is an accomplished business to business and consumer marketing expert with 6 years experience creating top-line and bottom-line results in a variety of companies. She has completed a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and Accounting from the University of Technology, Sydney before she made the move to Melbourne. 

    She has used her skills and experience to drive our marketing and sales teams and pushes for new ideas and championed social and digital marketing. Her colleagues find her to be creative minded, and commercially focused. She always lends her professional opinion and hand when required. Her personable approach allowed for greater interaction with our clients.

  • Freda Mexatotos – Business Relationship Manager

    Freda Metaxotos joined Soilworx as a Business Development Manager in 2012. With over 25 years in customer service and applying strong expertise in client management, she is a welcomed and integral addition to our team.

    Recently, Freda has taken on the role of Business Relationship Manager. A new direction has seen the company grow with a need to take on special projects and move towards quality control and environmental processes. Her role at Soilworx involves client management, tendering for major projects, quality control of quarry products and soils and finally working with key stakeholders to receive accreditation of ISO 9001 standards.

  • Frank Turkalj - Finance Manager

    Frank started his career in working and over the past 30 years he has worked in various companies, holding various roles across a number of different industries. Since joining the Soilworx team in September 2011 he has worked on improving the company financial systems by working on development of budgets, cash flows and other various reports vital for successful operation.
